The Empire...The Trilogy...The First Chapter

Empire Travel is a new transport venture waiting to start in the Wigan area of the United Kingdom.
The company will be managed and owned by Jon-Paul Teasdale who lives in Wigan, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom.
Since being quite little, Jon-Paul has always dreamed of running his own company.
At the moment the company does not exist, but in a short while his dream will come true.
The information has been sent now, to Jon-Paul, about the procedures and licences involved in starting the new bus company.
Already, information about the operators licence (from the DETR), tendered services (from GMPTE-check out the site below) and vehicle specifications from the the manufacturers under consideration.

The beginning of the Empire...
The Empire will start off with just one service connecting Wigan Bus Station with Pemberton.
This first service will be the back bone of many services to come.
The vehicles which may be used are to be new, striking and completely different to what the people of Wigan are used to.
The vehicles under consideration are either the Optare Solo, Optare Excel, Plaxton MPD or Plaxton Pointer Dart SLF.
All are lowfloor and all are visually quite stunning.
